Animal Reiki, also known as Pet Reiki, is a gentle, natural, and safe energy practice designed to support the overall well-being of our beloved animal companions.
This calming modality may help pets feel more relaxed and balanced during times of stress, illness, recovery from surgery, or aging. Animal Reiki is often used alongside traditional veterinary care as a complementary practice to encourage comfort and emotional ease.
With compassionate, intuitive hands, Cassie offers Reiki sessions that create a peaceful space for animals to rest and receive. For pets nearing the end of life, Reiki can provide soothing support, helping both the animal and their family experience a calmer, more loving transition.
Every session is offered with patience, respect, and deep care for your furry family member.

🐾 How Animal Reiki Works
The practitioner enters a calm, meditative state.
Animal Reiki is offered through gentle hand placements (or hands slightly above the body) to support an animal’s natural energy flow. This practice works with the chakra system — the body’s energy centers — and can be shared with many animals, including cats, dogs, horses, and more.
Like humans, animals are understood to have seven primary chakras. One of the most foundational is the Root Chakra, which is associated with grounding, stability, and a sense of safety. When this energy center feels balanced, animals often appear more relaxed and secure.
Reiki sessions are always guided by the animal’s comfort level, allowing them to receive energy in a calm, respectful, and supportive way. 🐾

If an animal has experienced emotional stress due to past trauma, neglect, or instability, Reiki can offer a calm and supportive space for relaxation and rebuilding trust. By encouraging a sense of safety and balance, Reiki may help ease fear, anxiety, and behavioral tension — allowing your beloved companion to feel more secure and at peace.
Supports Overall Well-Being
Even healthy pets can experience occasional physical or emotional stress. Periodic Reiki sessions may help maintain balance, relaxation, and a steady sense of well-being.
Encourages Relaxation During Recovery
When used alongside veterinary care, Reiki can promote calmness and comfort following illness or surgery. Deep relaxation supports the body’s natural restorative processes.
Helps Ease Stress-Related Behaviors
Many behavioral challenges are rooted in stress or anxiety. Reiki’s gentle, calming presence may help pets feel more relaxed and receptive to positive reinforcement and training. For animals with a history of mistreatment, the respectful, non-intrusive nature of Reiki can help reintroduce safe, comforting touch.
Provides Comfort During End-of-Life Care
For terminally ill animals, Reiki can create a peaceful environment filled with comfort and connection. Sessions may support both the pet and their person during this tender time, helping nurture calmness, bonding, and a gentle, loving transition.
Each Animal Reiki session is guided by the pet’s comfort level and offered with patience, compassion, and deep respect. 🐾

During a full Animal Reiki session, the practitioner may gently move through the primary chakras and then continue down the legs to support overall energetic balance. However, no two sessions are ever exactly the same.
Cassie approaches each animal intuitively, allowing the session to unfold based on the pet’s comfort level and energetic needs — just as she would when working with a human client. Every treatment is guided with presence, respect, and sensitivity to what the animal is communicating in the moment. 🐾

In doing a full session on an animal typically you would follow all the chakras then go down the legs. But even this method is not cut in stone. Cassie will listen to her inner guidance and follow where it takes her just as if she was doing a full treatment on a human client.

Done remotely in a relaxing setting
If your animal is fearful, your session can also be done remotely. Distance healing, has been proven to be extremely effective, sometimes even more effective than local, hands-on healing.
The practitioner will first talk with you about: Your pet’s age, health history, and temperament Any current concerns (anxiety, recovery, behavior changes, aging, etc.) Your goals for the session and any other information needed. Reiki is complementary, so it does not replace veterinary care —
In animal Reiki, the pet leads the session.
If they move away, that’s respected. If they move closer, that’s welcomed.
